
Dr. Kate McLean MD, MPH, FACOG
Dr. Kate McLean MD, MPH, FACOG is the Chief Medical Officer at Evvy.
Dr. McLean is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, who received her undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the University of Chicago, then went on complete residency training and a Masters in Public Health at the University of Washington in Seattle.
She has always been passionate about innovation in the reproductive health arena, and has previously held leadership positions at both non-profits working in low-resource settings abroad, as well as health tech start-ups in the US.
Dr. McLean is the immediate past Chair and current Legislative Chair for the Washington State Section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and has also successfully published a number of research studies in peer reviewed journals.
As the Chief Medical Officer at Evvy, she can’t wait to help bring the insights provided by the vaginal microbiome to the forefront of optimizing reproductive health.
